Training

We have scheduled training sessions throughout the year at various members fields. During the heat of the Summer season we usually try to start early enough in the morning so we don’t overheat the dogs in their training. On unusually hot days we might only do retrieves in water ponds.

As we progress into the Fall season we will step up our training sessions to prepare our dogs for the Fall Field Trial and Hunting Seasons.

Notes: Fall is in the air and Upland bird hunting is just around the corner. Cooler nights will make it possible to train our dogs during morning hours. Green grass still makes scenting a challenge, but as fall progresses this will get better. Steve will have pigeons and pheasants available for training. Call to schedule training times.
